So I probably shouldn't post the images just yet but my mom drives me to college becuase I dont have a licence yet. We were on our way into the parking lot when another car came out (not paying attention as you can tell) and hit a pickup that swerved into my side of the car. Everyone came out of it unharmed fortunately.
This next bit is secondhand info via my mom since she sent me off to class while she waited for the police.
The guy in the car that hit the pickup lied to the cops about his side of the story. He said the pickup was speeding and he "had no choice but to hit her" (which. even if she was speeding. that does not sound good on your end man). But the real story was that neither my mom nor the pickup were speeding, he was not paying attention and may have even been on his phone. Then the guy's dad or grandpa (my mom couldn't tell) came by and said the kid had only had that car for two weeks becuase he totalled his other one in a different accident...
The whole situation is so surreal lmao I've never been in a crash before but I'm just glad everyone came out of it ok.
